Learning Zone One is based around Literacy. There are a mix of objective led and child initiated activities for children to choose from throughout the day. Children have many opportunities to explore books and hold a pencil, whilst playing imaginatively alongside each other.

"I enjoy using the bench to draw and write."

"I like to draw on the graffiti wall with pens."
Activties include: role play, writing, reading, imaginative, schemas (an activity based around skills such as stacking, transferring and connecting), graffiti wall, writing shelves, writing bench, an interactive screen with a literacy based activity and a carpet activity.
