Remote Learning Overview

Individual Isolations: In the first instance your child will be provided with a home learning pack. The remote learning class page will be updated weekly with links to match teaching in school. Children will also be encouraged to continue to use See-Saw and Collins e-books for reading and Numbots and TTRS for maths.

Bubble/Class Closure Remote Learning: In the event of a bubble/class closure a remote learning planner will be provided. Activities will be completed on See-Saw. Regular reading and number fact work will continue to be promoted using Collins e-books, TTRS and Numbots in addition to these activities. Daily physical activity will also be encouraged.

The class teacher will upload a recording of a 'storytime'. This can be viewed at anytime.

Your child will be invited to attend a video call with their teacher (or another member of staff) and class using Zoom - this is optional.

Whole School Closure Remote Learning: If school closes remote learning will provided using a class planner. The planner will be available to download on the class page at 9.00am Monday morning. Activities will always include maths, phonics, reading, writing and physical activity plus other areas of the curriculum. These activities should be completed using See-Saw. Regular reading and number fact work will continue to be promoted using Collins e-books, TTRS and Numbots in addition to these activities.
